Tactile Tile-Clearing Puzzle
Assarter of the Wildlands
Take up the axe, mattock, and billhook to grub out stubborn root-burls, fell ancient timber, and sow smother-crops of rye and barley to stop toxic Baneland seeds from reclaiming your fields.
A free-to-play medieval strategy and estate-building game built for human rhythms.
Born as the fourth child of a minor knight, you inherit noble blood and a sharp mind, but no land of your own. In a kingdom still being carved from the wilderness, that is no dead end—opportunity waits on every uncleared acre for anyone bold enough to take it. To claim a hereditary estate, ride out to the Kingdom’s untamed borderlands, clear the wild valleys, and earn a Royal Land Patent from the Crown. Then build a thriving manor, recruit soldiers to your banner, and lead your retinue out to hold the Banelands at bay.
Unlike ancient realms built upon the ruins of fallen empires, the Kingdom of Ravenest is young, vibrant, and pushing outward into a wild frontier.
Scattered across the realm are vast, untamed tracts known as The Banelands—rugged expanses where the soil is naturally poisoned with heavy metals and choked by thorny, toxic flora. While human crops and livestock cannot survive on Baneland ground, the creatures of the wastes—scavenging goblins, brutal orc warbands, hulking ettins, and cunning trolls—have evolved to thrive on its poisonous plants.
Because humans cannot plow or settle these poisoned barrens, the frontier never truly closes. Every noble estate stands as a fortified sanctuary holding the line along the border—where seeds from the wastes blow into fertile valleys, raiding warbands probe the marches, and grit, craftsmanship, and ambition matter far more than courtly politics.
In Ravenest, military strength grows directly from the soil, timber, and craftsmanship of a living estate—with flexible ways to play so you can focus on the parts of frontier life you enjoy most.
Two Distinct Paths to Tame the Wild: Earn your Royal Land Patent and gather bonus estate resources by choosing between two full-featured core mini-games—or switch freely between them whenever the mood strikes.

Tactical Frontier Defense
Patrol the forest marches, construct ditch-and-bank barricades, position ballistas, and set pitch-traps to turn back ravenous wolf packs and goblin scouts before they reach the royal roads.
Beneath its cozy surface, your manor runs on a rich, authentic 13th-century supply chain where woodcutters, colliers, sawyers, and smiths turn raw bog-iron and ash timber into riveted mail and composite longbows. Love deep economic optimization? Open the full Manorial Ledger to fine-tune every bushel of grain and iron bloom yourself. Prefer to focus on action and adventure? Follow the one-click counsel of your Manor Reeve, a trusted advisor who flags bottlenecks and recommends the exact workshop or cottage your village needs next.
You begin your frontier journey on foot alongside just two loyal men-at-arms. As you upgrade your manor house through ten architectural tiers—evolving from a timber-palisaded hall into a moated enclosure and eventually a towering stone castle—your expanding fields and bakehouses generate the surplus needed to attract, feed, and house new recruits. Scale your personal guard up to a full standing retinue of 24 named soldiers, choosing each recruit’s role and outfitting every warrior in individual armor and weapons forged at your own anvil.
Real-time tactical combat is where all of your quiet stewardship bears fruit. When Baneland warbands march out of the mist to raid the valley—or when you ride out on a frontier expedition—you take direct command of your retinue on the battlefield. Every piece of gear matters: the pavise shield hewn by your sawyer absorbs incoming arrows, longbows crafted by your fletcher thin the advancing horde, and your blacksmith’s riveted mail keeps your veteran sergeants standing against an orc charge. Sally forth alone to hold the valley approaches, or team up with friends and neighboring lords on a shared battlefield—combining your retinues to break heavy siege beasts and clear deep Baneland strongholds together.
Whether checking your estate for five minutes over morning coffee or spending an afternoon on a frontier campaign, Ravenest adapts to your schedule.
Take a Royal Land Patent deep into the quiet borderlands to build and fortify a self-reliant manor completely solo. Conquer the frontier at your own pace, and open your gates to neighboring knights only if and when you choose.
Join or found an intimate fellowship of neighboring lords where every estate plays a vital role. A woodland manor in the hills supplies charcoal and bow-staves to a blacksmithing peer, while a river-valley estate bakes the campaign rations that sustain the Barony’s cooperative expeditions.
Every four weeks, the Crown summons the realm to the Royal Tournament. Entering the tournament is completely optional, and competition is treated as an honorable medieval sport—not a war of destruction.
You never have to rush to “catch up” to enjoy competitive play. The King’s Games feature distinct Lists of Arms—from small-scale Yeoman Skirmishes for fledgling lords with three or four militia, up to the Knightly Lists and the Baronial Grand Lists for veteran estates. Progressing at a leisurely pace simply means competing against peers at your own stage of the journey.
Instead of throwing you into a random, lopsided matchmaking queue, the Tournament Ledger lets teams negotiate their own match terms before stepping onto the field. Veteran lords can take voluntary stat handicaps to fight alongside newer friends, or a coalition of three fledgling knights can band together in an asymmetric 3-vs-1 challenge to test their mettle against a single veteran Baron. Because both sides agree to the terms upfront, you are only ever outmatched if you overestimate your own boldness!
If you have ever downloaded a promising strategy game only to discover it was a disguised slot machine designed to empty your wallet, you are not alone. Too many modern mobile games treat players as targets—engineering artificial frustration, 3:00 AM raid alarms, and lopsided pay-to-win battles just to pressure you into buying one more bundle.
Ravenest is built on a straightforward rule: money buys variety, not power.
Because Ravenest isn’t trying to extract as much cash as possible from frustrated players, its systems are set free to do something rare in mobile gaming: be genuinely fun. Every timer, resource loop, and battlefield mechanic exists to create a satisfying game—not to manufacture a problem and sell you the solution.
In many mobile games, daily tasks are deliberately tedious make-work designed to wear you down until you pay to skip them. In Ravenest, mini-games are crafted to be genuinely engaging puzzles and tactical challenges—and once your manor’s passive economy is up and running, they aren’t even mandatory. Unplayed daily bounties automatically bank into a multi-day reservoir, and built-in diminishing returns ensure you are never pressured to grind for hours. Play a round when you want a fun puzzle, or simply check your Reeve’s morning report and enjoy a quiet evening.
Every estate stands under the King’s Peace: no other player can burn your village. Battles are fought out in the open fields, not at your manor walls, so nothing an enemy does—rival lord nor Baneland warband—can put your village to the torch.
Your hard-earned retinue is not treated as disposable cannon fodder. Soldiers defeated in battle never permanently die; wounded men-at-arms simply return to the manor’s infirmary to rest, mend, and fight again.
Not a banner, not an interstitial, not a pop-up that trades thirty seconds of video for a faster timer. Nothing in Ravenest is gated behind an advert. Your screen space belongs to the valley you are building and the field you are fighting on—nowhere else.
Ravenest is completely free to play, with zero combat stats, troop tiers, or construction speedups for sale. Optional purchases unlock alternate mini-games, cosmetic heraldry, and scenic new territory maps for your Barony to explore—yielding the exact same daily progression as core gameplay. Nothing here is wrapped in a loot box or a lottery ticket—nothing demands you keep playing until the dice finally land your way. When you buy something in Ravenest, you know exactly what you are getting. On the battlefield, victory belongs strictly to preparation, teamwork, and tactical command.
